  3.  @Br3ttM  Well, sociopathy is less genetic than psychopathy, and seems to be more environment-based, which is why I assumed sociopathy. I 100% believe it's a multi-factoral issue, though, and the things you mentioned are accurate. Here's another idea: time preference. If you can't delay gratification, either due to low impulse control or due to the belief that you likely won't live very long, you are more likely to make terrible decisions for immediate gratification, like murdering someone and celebrating after. There's a sci-fi story (idr which one) where an alien species lived to be 25, and as a result, they were incredibly violent and war-like.

There's enough generic diversity amongst Black Americans, seeing as they number about 40,000,000 and come from two fairly different regions in West Africa. I've read the įñçęšt stats broken down by race, and Bläck Americans don't have a higher rate of consensual įñçęšt than White Americans, but they do have a higher rate of statutory įñçęšt, which should hardly be prevalent enough to create a genetic bottleneck.

  5.  @penguinjay  But IQ and virtue aren't correlated. That's why I'm looking for sociopathy. I've met mentally-disabled people before, and they weren't violent.
