  1. In the Korean war, I was told by British soldiers who had been POWs in camps run by the Koreans, they lived largely on black beans, which though very dull were reasonable nutritious. Their American comrades however died on the same diet. I myself though a soldier, never saw fighting but on one exercise in Sennerlage Heide, Germany we came across an American Army camp, and were amazed to find that every tent had electricity and gas and water which came out from the nearest town about 3kms away through a sort of cable/pipe thingy.

  2. I am British, I have travelled extensively in Europe and I once went to China. I regret to say the only place I have ever seen a bedbug was in London.
