Almost immediately after the invasion (Not, note the war) happened, the Russians and the Ukrainians started negotiating in Turkey. They reached a draft agreement on the "heads of discussion" I.e. the things that they would discuss in their negotiations. Then the negotiators went back to Moscow and Kiev respectively to discuss what had been achieved so far. At that point the Western powers in the form of Boris Johnson turned up in Kiev and told them that the Western Powers would not agree to the security guarantees that they had agreed to discuss and told the Ukrainians to tear up the agreement, as the West would provide enough weapons and money for the Ukrainians to hand the Russians a decisive defeat. (Or words to that effect.)

  5. 5:12 Anyone who has been following events in the Middle East will remember that the US supplied the Taliban with "Stinger" missiles, a form of "Manpad" to shoot down Soviet helicopters in Afghanistan and gleefully boasted about it when the Taliban did just that. No doubt, they will also remember the US supplying the IS fighters in Syria with manpads, to do the same thing, in the war in Syria. Being members of the same "family", they would naturally, share things amongst themselves.

China's rapid development, particularly in the field of weapons, should be telling the US that it is time to come to a working agreement with China, rather than "busting a gut" trying to outcompete them. They have tried that and already they can see that it does not work. Time, therefore to rethink and come to terms with reality. There is an old British proverb which says: "If you can't beat'em, join'em." However, the US's leaders are so full of their own cleverness, that they will never take this advice. So convinced of their own uniqueness and wonderfulness that they cannot imagine ever being inferior to any other country in any way at all. It is what will be their undoing.

It was only "Unexpected" in the sense that no one in the West thought that they would have the courage, the effronery even, to take on N@0, which was almost universally regarded as undefeatable.

I said that was a lie because they had negotiated in March and April 2022 and then the Collective West had persuaded Zelensky tp tear up the agreed items.. You then said that "that was then, this is now" which I took to mean, that you were supporting the the lie that Russia was not willing to negotiate. If that was not what you meant, I'm sorry I misunderstood you. (Incidentally, I still don't understand what That was then, this is now"has to do with anything.) The Russians, as I understand it. have not refused to negotiate. Their point is, that as they regard Zelensky as a Puppet, they do not see any point in negotiating with him. They are waiting for the US or "Neightoe" to offer negotiations.

  20. "ALL YOU NEED" ? That's not much to ask! The target in space will be moving. The Sun will also be moving. The lens will be in orbit and also moving. Heating up the target will cause it to move. Then how much power do you need? Each kw will require at least a square metre of lens. Then as the Sun is about 160 million kms away from Earth, the target will have to be in the focus of the lens, so the distance will have to be pretty exactly right or you will need a variable focus "MAGIFING GLASS". Not as simple as you suggest.

  38. That is true BUT, the Collective West believed their own propaganda, which had been propagated for years by the MSM. (Russia is a gas-station masquerading as a country. The Russian Army has no experience, it is officered by idiots, its troops are badly trained and badly equipped with out-of-date weapons. The Russian troops are badly paid and mutinous. As soon as the Ukrainians attack them the Russian troops will turn tail and flee.) Previously this did not matter much because the West was not at war with Russia. However, when they decided to get rid of "The Putin" by forcing his government into a war, with the biggest, best-trained NATO-style army in Europe and at the same time putting a huge number of crippling sanctions on the Russiaan economy, it led them into thinking that this would cause his downfall very quickly. Unfortunately for them, and absolutely disasterously for the people of Ukraine, they badly miscalculated.

  41. 3:47 You fail to mention that back in 2008, Russia told the West that they would not tolerate having Ukraine join NA*O. They repated this several times, over the years since. The US Ambassador to Russia, William Burns, (Now head of the CIA.) told the USG "Niet means Niet". IOW "The Russians are really serious about this" In December 2021 the Russians said that they wanted negotiations with both the USA and NA*O to set up a real security apparatus for the whole of Europe and they WERE IGNORED BY BOTH. You also, (As per usual.) fail to mention the very important point that from 2015 to 2022 the Ukrainian army had been shelling the civilians in the Donbas "Because they insisted on talking Russian!" Further more, In January 2022 it became clear that the Ukrainian army was prepareing to invade the rebellious provinces, with a view to either driving out all the inhabitants or killing them. This forced the Russians to invade Ukraine to prevent this happening. (Ukraine has persisted in shelling the civilians in Donetsk City unil a couple of days ago, inspite of being desperately short of ammunition.)

It is growing about three times as fast as the US, maybe more. Short of a full-scale war, there is not much the US can do about it. If a war between China and the US remains "conventional", the US will lose.
