2:15 Again, why is anyone surprised at this, when the collective West, particularly the European part of it, has been enthusiastically discussing how to seize the Russian Central Bank's $300billion, deposited in Western Europe, to fund the Ukrainian government! As Ursurla von der Leyen put it in a recent speech; "We must seize not freeze this monaey!" (Or words to that effect.) Did anyone expect the Russians would not retaliate? If so, why?

0:31 The Russian attack on Ukraine was launched as a result of Russia being left with an almost impossible choice: namely to sit idly by, while the Ukraine army masscred large numbers of Russian speaking Ukrainians and drove the rest out of East Ukraine (Which is what they were publicly tasked with doing.) or taking on N@0. It was only "Unexpected" in the sense that no one in the West thought that they would have the courage, the effronery even, to take on N@0, which was almost universally regarded as undefeatable.

4:28 How in the name of everything Holy, can Russia "use its control over the Nothstream Pipeline" to do anything? Considering that last year, the Northstream Pipeline was blown up, by "someone" (Someone that is, that Norway, Denmark and Germany say they know who that someone is, but refuse to name!) Do you take us all for fools?

5:26 Once again, you are engaging in double-talk. The Europeans and America stopped buying Russian natural gas and oil as they said they wanted to "not fund Putin's war against Ukraine." So how can you blame Russia, for the shortage of gas in Europe? It is a "Voluntary Misfortune" to say the least!

5:03 When the "Someone" mentioned below, blew - up the Nordstream Piplenes, they released a really enormous quantity of methane, a very powerful "Greenhouse Gas", into the atmosphere with no apparent worry about any effect it might cause.

@jeremyatkinson4976 This is your substitute for argument? Ah well! Little things please little minds.

@jeremyatkinson4976 The opposing view is wrong. Can you show one example of "Russia formenting the conflict"? On the contrary Russia submitted proposed draft treaties to give everyone in Europe security and theUS and N@0 refused to even discuss them

@Simonsimon-fy3hq Insults are not an adequate substitute for arguments. Your "answer" shows that you have nothing to add to the discussion.

@brian472 Which part of what I said is untrue? It is easy (and lazy) to suggest that what someone says is nonsense, it is much harder to prove it.

@plodiN3 Thanks.

@jeremyatkinson4976 I don't believe guff. You seem to have slipped a few years. Crimea went back to Russia, by referendum, in 2014. Not 2022.
