  2. The CIA's problem stems from a few years ago. They had a way of communicating with their spies, using the internet as the condiut for messages back and forth. The Iranian's counter espionage discovered how it worked and were able to round up the entire CIA network in Iran. Having done that successfully, they shared the secret with China, who also rounded up the whole network in China. Hence the current lack of info.
