@spartanonxy " Bean counters are needed." but putting them in control is fatal to quality and even, eventually, to production. They cut and cut and cut and finally all the really dedicated and the really skilled get fed up and resign or go to work for the competition. One particular problem with beancounters, is their fixation on immediate profitability and the share price of the company. "If it doesn't show a profit in 18 months" they will often veto an idea.
