They instituted the Petrodollar system, which must rank as one of the most gigantic swindles in human history. I don't know to what extent the US interfered in the British electoral system but if they were to blame for Thatcher, I would not be surprised!

  2. Oh yes! Don't forget either, that between their "minor" wars in the middle East an North Africa and the depredations of the World Bank and the IMF, they unleashed the flood of refugees on both Europe and the USA itself, that continues to this day.
