  1. 37:47 It seems to me that one has to understand that Hamas has a triple nature; it is one sense, an Israeli proxy organ, having been set up abd finaced by the Israeli government as a counter to the PLO and in order to discredit the Palestine cause in the eyes of the World. It also has elements of a genuine liberation organization fighting against the Israeli government, their repressive and the settlers. Thirdly it is an elected government with the usual preoccupations and attributes of any government. Although any one of these aspects may be the most evident at any one moment, one has to bear in mind that all three are existent, all the time.
