I think that the "Traditional Left" parties (Labour ,Communist and Maoist) have all been infiltrated, subverted and broken by internal strife, by the Special Branch and MI6, in Britain and probably the same or analogous thing has happened in Europe. They have also been relentlessly attacked by the MSM as soon as they showed any patriotic, anti-EU or anti-US or anti-Israel tendency. The Woke cult has also had a deleterious and confusing effect.
