  1. 5:38 I think you have to consider what really is at stake here. Is it concern for Taiwanese Democratic Rights? The answer is that is seems extremely improbable that a contry which has zero interest in any rights at all for Palestinians, would have any real interest in rights for any other country. Therefore, I conclude that the REAL interest is in degrading China so that it does not compete with the USA for the position of World Hegemon. This means that there is no need for a real causus belli. The US wants a war and will try to get it any way it can. On the other hand, it does not want to be seen as the aggressor. Nothing that the Chinese can or will say, will make the slightest difference to the USA's aim.

  3. 9L23 What these US officials (Ex-Officials) are saying, reinforces the view, that were Taiwan to vanish under the waves in some geological disaster, it would make no difference to the US desire for a war with China.
