  2. 13:28 George Marshall et al were concerned to get Germany running again after the destruction of WW2 in order to get them to help defeat Russia. The same was true of Japan and South Korea. None of the motivation was to help the Germans, the Japanese or the Koreans. The aim has been constant throughout.
