  1. If Putin was removed by whatever, coup, accident or heart attack, it would not end the Western "hostility" to Russia. I put hostility in quotes, because really it is not hostility so much as concupiscence. They want the land and above all the minerals and Putin stands in their way. Absit Putin there would be someone else.

  4. The countries of the Global South are not controlled by their respective MICs, so their policy tends to favour their own peoples' interests. Therefore, they want PEACE. Always have, always will. The USG, by contrast, is controlled by the US MIC and always wants war, rumours of war and threats of war. Aways has and for obvious resons, always will. That is why treaties with the USG tending to avoid war are essentially worthless.

  5. 32:32 It occurs to me that there is an advantage to the Russians in prolonging this war (Not saying that it is a powerful motive, but it is real, not negligible.) and that is that this war is de-militarizing the West inasmuch as it is denuding weapons stockpiles in the West, who are short of raw materials to make weapons.
