  1. If you want to go from, say, Shanghai to Beijing or even London to Birmingham, on your electric scooter it will take you quite a while. I saw a while ago, that a man was arrested on the M6 for being on an electric scooter! Brave soul indeed!

  2. From the point of view of the ordinary bod, banning electric scooters is a pest and stupid. From the point of view of the Oil companies, it is a very good idea indeed! Bet you can't guess who has influence with the politicians!
