27:39 What is even more staggering, is that the Chinese have grown rich without an empire to rob!
Oh, &BTW, private enterprise was an important part of the Chinese scene from well before the declaration of the PRC. For example, the PRC's flag has four small stars on it as well as the big "Communist" star. These four stars represent the peasants, workers, soldiers and (Wait for it!) the patriotic capitalists.
When I went to China in 1964, I was amazed at the diversity of goods in the shops and enquiring about this, I discovered that unlike in the USSR, there was a thriving privately owned industry, making anything that would turn a penny, with firms ranging in size, from one-man ops to firms employing hundreds or even thousands.
