  4.  @duncansmith7576  You think that the only purpose of a war is to take ground/cities? You should have listened to what Putin said was the purpose of the invasion when the Russians invaded. He said that the purpose of the invasion was to de-militarise and de-Nazify Ukraine and make sure that it was Not part of NATO or in other words "neutral". Nothing about conquering the whole of the land mass of Ukraine. De-militarizing Ukraine means destroying Ukraine's weapons and their army. That is what they have done. Isn't it? De-NAZIfying the Ukraine means destroying (at least) the power of the Ukrainian NAZIs which they have very largely done. Making Ukraine into a non-NATO state, remains to be done, probably through negotiations when the fighting stops, or when negotiations start. The point of continuing "to fight an army with no ammunition" is that this war is disarming NATO! Ask yourself: "Why does Zelensky's army have no weapons, too few men and no ammunition?" "Is it because the West has not given it any? NO. Is it because the West does not want to give it weapons? No. The reason is that the West has used up its stocks of weapons supplying Zelensky's army. The Ukrainians have worn some out, they have used up a lot, the Ukrainian government has sold a lot on the World Black Market and the Russians have destroyed the rest. The longer the war goes on the fewer weapons the West has. Big-arrow offensives cost a lot of lives and the Russians want to lose as few men as possible. Advancing slowly, is more economical and the Ukrainians keep bringing Naxis to be killed and weapons to be destroyed, so why would the Russians go wild and advance rapidly? Do you understand now?
