thulomanchay No it can't. It is already in a war. No country that is already in a war is allowed to join NATO. For obvious reasons.

Ukraine and Russia almost negotiated a peace a year ago back, in Istanbul, but Washington sent Boris Johnson to tell Zelensky that, that was not allowed. 2:50 "War Fatigue"? You're joking! They are running out of weapons to send! Their great fear, is that Ukraine will drain the Collective West's arsenals to the point that they would have totally inadequate stocks to respond to a Russian attack if it happened. They still have some weapons, but they want them to use on China!

@sean1222221 They ARE running out. Making ordinary common and garden ammo is not profitable enough for the US MIC, so it has been neglected, in favour of really glamourous projects like the F-35, which really brings home the bacon! They have some ammo left, but they want to use that to attack China. The US military budget also has to support 800+ bases all over the World, and a lot of lobbyist and a lot of congress critters and a lot of shareholders which the Russians have not encumbered themselves with.

@luisekjeldsen1515 Yes, it makes good sense, if you want to keep a lot of Ukrainian troops away from the Donbas, defending Kiev. The Russians sent about 40,000 troops to near Kiev, nothing like enough to take the city, but enough to keep a large number of Ukrainian troops there to defend the it.
