  1. Ha ha! He is still far too optimistic! Does he really think the Russians would settle for as little as lifting SOME OF the sanctions? I doubt the Russians will settle for les than comprehensive security guarantees for EVERYONE in Europe and abolition of all sanctions. It would not surprise me if they stuck out for the abolition of NATO.
