Making and worse, using such ammunition, should be made a Crime Against Humanity. Yes, I know it is very effective against tanks but when used, it poisons the ground around where it is used more or less for ever and ever. Food grown in the area causes stillbirths and hideously deformed children and other animals.

The problem with your suggestion is the Russian position is that: the first use of a nuclear weapon against them will trigger WW3.

In my honest opinion, anyone making DU ammunition, after the terrible experience of Iraq and Serbia is guilty of a Crime Against Humanity. The US sending DU ammunition to Europe is another vile attack upon all European people now and for the long-term future. The use of these weapons will contaminate the soil of what has, in the past, been dubbed "The Breadbasket of Europe" and make sure that anyone who eats food grown in this area will be at risk of producing deformed children. In general I am against the Death Penalty, but for people making, advocating, sending or using such weapons, I would think it highly appropriate. Humans, after all have the right to defend themselves and these weapons are not, cannot be, aimed at anyone in particular, but attack humanity in general.
