  1. There is no "stalemate" in this very bloody war. This is a propaganda term, used by the CW media to disguise the fact that the Russians have been winning for a long time. They have not, however, been trying to take as much territory as they could have taken. They stated their policy at the start of the SMO in February 2022, and it did not include conquering Ukraine. Their aims were stated as : 1) Demilitarising Ukraine. 2) De-Nazifying Ukraine. 3) Making sure that Ukraine was neutral and stayed outside of NATO. Nothing about conquering Territory. It is characteristic of CW thinking that "Territory is important, people don't matter". The Russians think differently.
