I have had doubts about the "Moon Landing" for a long time. As time goes on it looks less and less probable. There is the flimsy nature of the craft in which they (Allegedly) landed, there is the difference in the condition of the travelers when they returned, there is the way that NASA "forgot" how to do it(!), and the extraordinary ease with which the calculations involved were done with so little computing power, the number of NASA records that got accidentally erased. Finally, there were silly things like the Astronaut who gave the King of Holland (Or was it?) Belgium, a "piece of Moon rock" that turned out on examination to be fossilized wood.(!)
Against all that, there was the massive amount of evidence that "they really were there", the amount of testimony by astronauts that they really had done that and samples of Moon rock and finally the lack of any debunking by the Russians.
You can suppress truth, but you cannot alter it. It is always there and if you lie about it, it can always pop up at the most awkward moment.
