  1. Turkey, Turkie, It seems to me that each language has its own names for foreign countries. Is it "disrespectful" for the British to refer to "France" rather than "La Republique Francais"? or to "Germany", rather than to "Deutschland"? This looks to me like a variety of "Wokeness". I think I shall continue to refer to countries by their English names, when I am talking English.
