No. The "main reason for the war " is the same as the reason for almost all the wars since 1945: it is long-held ambition of a small but powerful clique of warmongers in Washington and London to conquer Russia, balkanize it and loot it. That is what having all the 800 military bases is about. That explains the Cold War. It's a constant and we shall never have peace whilst these folks are in power.
