  1. Like you, I don't know much about Africa in general and very little indeed about Niger or Gabon. However, I read recently that the militaries in countries all across central Africa have been trained in recent years, by the US Army. Just recently, these militaries have revolted, one after another, against France. (?!) Further, they seem to be inclined, like the people of these countries, to incline towards the Chinese-Russian side of politics.
