Here he was, being invited by the smug Blinken in front of him, to take part in an act of Ethnic Cleansing. I.e. invited to participate in a (war?) crime against his fellow Arabs, by a Jew. Can you wonder that he was not overly polite? Why on Earth would he have agreed to that? Just to please the US? Why would Qatar have agreed to fund it? The only way I can account for it myself, is that Blinken thought that he, as a representative of the USA could ask anything of anyone and they would click their heels together and say "Yes Sir!, Of course, Sir!"
