@willbass2869 I don't know that it was the last, but one Great Contribution was the preservation of a lot of the scientific/mathematical work that was done in classical times. After the Christians burned the Great Library at Alexandria, destroying the accumulated records of centuries of work, the Islamic World preserved a lot of what was left. The Crusaders managed to destroy only a part of that remnant.

48:54 If what you are saying is correct (and I am not saying that it isn't) then, if the S-400 systems can link up, to tell the Russians what is going on in Iranian airspace, (and 400kms around!) then all the owners of S-400 systems can, in principle, see what is going on in all the areas where there are S-400s (and 400kms around that!) As I said, if this is the case, then it radically alters the effect of the threat of the aggressive use of NATO air power. Wow!

Even the Chinese could not have mediated a ceasefire between the Russians and Ukraine for the same reason that you cannot mediate a ceasefire between Mr Punch and his wife. I.e. it's not in the script! It is not Ukraine that is behind this war, this is the Neocons (of Washington DC) using a proxy to attack Russia. The Russians cannot placate their demands, because they (the neocons), do not want peace, they want the destruction of Russia.
