Very good and accurate description of the situation. What puzzles me is how exactly this war will end? Will the AFU just collapse and the US declare a victory and walk away, a la mode d'Afghanistan? They are so tied up with their own politics at the moment and they have wars in Israel, Syria, Thailand, Myanmar, Yemen, and Lebanon and they are being thrown out of various African states and they have a huge monetary crisis to deal with at the same time. Unbelievably, they seem to want a war in the Philipines and Taiwan as well! When the Russians win, which they will, what will they do then? They will have a truly gigantic task clearing up.

@JuanPublo2023 I know, but, rebuilding Ukraine is a task which is orders of magnitude greater than rebuilding Mariupol. I hope and think the Chinese will help.
