23:17 It might have made "better sense" for Ukraine to adopt a defensive strategy, if the Russian had willfully attacked Ukraine and Ukraine were an independent country. However, this was not the case. The Russians intervened to stop the Ukrainian army committing a genocide against the Russian-speaking inhabitants of the Donbas and Ukraine was/is not an independent operator but a puppet of the US. The purpose of the war is, for Ukraine to damage Russia, which would probably be harder to do with a defensive strategy.

@FreeBrunoPowroznik "Whilst the claim of genocide is an obvious exaggeration, I don't think the fact that 14,000 died is of no importance" It wasn't that they "Just" killed 14,000 (10,000 of which were civilians) the Ukrainian government was talking about after defeating the rebels, hanging all those who spoke Russian. How many would count as "Genocide", in your estimation?

@vladtheimpala1 Oh! Only 3,400 civilians! That's all right then! Of course Poroshenko was only joking when he told the Azov Brigade to hang the Russian-speakers after they had defeated them? I suppose? If the Ukrainian government had treated its ethnic minorities in a civilized fashion there would have been no fighting in the first place.
