  2. 1:09:21 Probably, the sort of thinking that spawns articles like the one advocating waiting until Ukraine regains some territory and then starting negotiations; is based on a misunderstanding of Russian tactics. What I mean is, that the author looks at the battle maps and sees that the Russians are advancing "very slowly" and concludes therefore, that they cannot advance any quicker, and that therefore, they are more or less evenly matched against the Ukrainians. This being the case, we just have to give the Ukrainians a bit mor equitpment and they will be able to beat the Russians back. Given the persistent depiction of the war in the MSM, it is quite logical!
