  1. 1:06:07 The purpose of the persecution of the Russophone people of the Donbas was not to prevent them having autonomy, no, it was to provoke the Russians into protecting them by invading Ukraine, as they eventually did. This invasion was intended (By the CW) to justify the sanctions that they were anyway going to levy on Russia. The refusal of autonomy and the verbot of the use of the Russian language, were not conviction driven acts, they were a means to an end. Namely to get the Russians to invade Ukraine. This was part of a plan, (To crush Russia and divide it up and loot it ,a la 1990s.) which was based on faulty beliefs in the weakness of the Russian military and the Russian economy and the weakness of the political standing of President Putin, in Russia. Like many a plan based on faulty beliefs and information before it, it has cone unstuck. In your account of it, you make the mistake of taking the excuses that the Ukrainian Junta made for their actions, as the real reasons behind their actions.
