  2. 3:15 In 1949, China's population was thought to be about 500 million. Around the year 2000 it was about a billion. The economic conditions were nothing like as favourable to people who wanted to have and bring up a family as they are now. It's true that there is a problem, but an insoluable problem? No. I don't think so.

  3. 1:30 I have been following the course of the Chinese Revolution, since about 1946 and I can tell you that similar preditions of collapse, either economic or political, have been following the Chinese Communists since then. There has not been a year since then, when you could not read confident predictions of Chinese communist or Chinese state collapse coming soon. It still has not happened!
