Erick O and Ray are the only mechanics I watch on the net. BTW Mrs O and Wife unit are the best.

Always nice to see Lauren.
2
You might put some new tires on the front end.
2
At least once or twice a year, spray some disinfectant into the intake vents, with the fan going. Eliminates any odor and mold growth. A lot cheaper than what you are doing.
2
Always nice to see Lauren. She brought much more than her foot. ๐๐ Isn't break fluid as corrosive as it always was? They put expensive tires on that they can't afford to replace. Makes you wonder. ๐ค๐คจ
2
Nice truck. Of course it's Wife Unit approved. ๐ Some times, when you put enough "a problem"s together, you get "the problem". Bash me with a hammer, will you. My lawyer will be in touch! ๐
2
You put the keys in and forgot to put the window down. :hand-orange-covering-eyes: You beat up you're toys, that's what you get. He apparently never listened to his Mother. :face-pink-tears:
2
Always nice to see Lauren.

Never thought I'd get dizzy watching a video. My washer pump wasn't spraying so I bought a new one, pulled out the inner fender to get access to the pump, and found out the only problem I had was the hose fell off. Anyone need a new washer pump? ๐๐
2
I don't care what he paid for it, it's still a Chevy and crap. Tell me. How do you break a shift lever on an automatic transmission? High priced crap. You are a true pro to tackle that mess. Good job.
2
Instead of buying the puller, use a screwdriver. ๐ All through this procedure, I've been saying 'why doesn't he tie that shaft up, out of the way?'. Why didn't he?
2
I agree.
2
Meanwhile all the exhaust is dumping into the garage.
2
Why don't they put a drain plug on the trans pan? Why don't you just look up the trans capacity instead of that measuring? ๐ค
2
ย @jsh6952ย I didn't know that. Thanks.
2
Always nice to see Lauren. How come Troy's side is so much cleaner that your side? ๐ค๐คจ
2
Always nice to see Lauren. Time to open Weatherman Ray's Repairs? ๐ค 100 Degrees in New Jersey. Heat index 110. Can't believe I spent a half an hour watching you change plugs. And I even gave you a thumbs up. I have to get a life. ๐
2
.New camera really sucks.
2
1998 Lincoln w/137K? WOW. So, when is this new lift going in? They're making your life hard. "Never believe everything the customer tells you.". I believe an old wise mechanic once said that. ๐ There's also another old saying about assuming.
2
Always nice to see the Wife Unit. You don't have any jack stands? Those air scoops don't fill up with mud and road scum?
2
Always nice to see Lauren.
2
Always nice to see Lauren. Be interesting to know the labor charges for such a simple job. ๐คจ Auto engineering. Can't beat it. 40:00 Time to bring the torch out? Thank God for fast forward. Wouldn't you put it in from the side it came out?
2
Any conversation with their lawyers? With all the backpedaling, I would say yes. Glad it didn't go to far and you both kissed and made up.
2
Not too long ago, my Tribute's temp would rise and fall, but upon checking, there was coolant in the reservoir. I saw no leaks. Couldn't figure out what was wrong. Turned out, the reservoir return was blocked up and the engine was running bone dry. Luckily, I caught it just in time before major problems occurred. Had the system flushed and tested along with a new water pump and a new thermostat. Been running fine since. Always nice to see Lauren.
2
ย @TXCherokeeย 2001 Mazda Tribute, bought new..
2
Easy fix, as long as you don't burn a hole in it. Ray you're so predictable. ๐ Worse weld I've ever seen. ๐คจ๐
2
You don't get a lot of Honda's because it's not a Chevy or a Jeep. ๐คจ
2
Good catch, Ray.
2
And he really only wanted to change the interior light bulb. I think we've all been there, haven't we? ๐
2
You make 'entertainment' videos? ๐ Maybe give Eric O a call at South Main in New York. I could never really understand magnets in an all metal engine. Just guessing: a cam problem or cam sensor problem.
2
Always nice to see Lauren.
2
Who engineered this piece of junk? "We'll just cover this bracket with this other bracket and then install this reservoir over these brackets". ๐ก๐คฌ First "off frame" repair?
2
Always nice to see Lauren. I enjoyed this video. ๐
2
Well packed. Lots of freebees.
2
I keep waiting for that bag to go off. ๐ฎ๐ตโ๐ซ You didn't eliminate the sensors? ๐ค
2
You're not cheap, you're frugal, like the rest of us. ๐ Great vid Ray.
2
According to Dr. Google: "A complete fuel system cleaning is not recommended as a preventative service; it is only necessary when you are experiencing problems. "
2
Back in Model "T" days, to do what you are doing, they would drain the oil and fill the crank case with kerosene. They would run that for a while, drain it and add new oil. Worked every time. Probably would work today. Kerosene, or paraffin, is a combustible hydrocarbon liquid which is derived from petroleum.
2
Why anybody would buy a Jeep is beyond me. Proven piece of junk.
1
Sorry to hear that , Ray. I'm sure you'll be OK. They always don't like the truth. I was always told that I had a bad attitude, because I would point out the problems. They didn't want to here that because they didn't want to deal with them. One thing I have learned, is that you don't announce you are going to leave your job on YouTube, so your employer hears about it long before you're planning on leaving. Tends to get you fired before you really want it.
1
What's wrong with a V6? I had V8 all my life and the best engine I've had is the V6 I have now. 21 years old Mazda Tribute with 254,000 miles and still running strong.
1
You can always go back to the dealership? ๐คจ๐
1
What's with the Cobra in the right bay? 0:42 I had the same problem, fixed by one can of oil seal. Much cheaper that the $1500 repair price.
1
Hope you didn't pay for that Chevrolet sign. If anything, the should give you one. Seems all you fix are Chevrolet's and Jeeps. Always nice to see Lauren. BTW: The new camera still sucks.
1
It's nice when you post early, because after I watch you, Eric O posts his video. Steady entertainment. ๐ 26:50 That's their problem. Keep up what you're doing Ray. Just show Lauren more. ๐ Because it's always nice to see Lauren. Did you clean off the weld spatter, before putting on the gasket? Now that I see Lauren, I'm entertained. ๐
1
"Here, hold this". ๐๐๐๐๐
1
When you blow out the exhaust ports to "remove any debris", and the exhaust valves are open, aren't blowing said debris into the cylinder? ๐ค
1
Every new video show new strangers lurking around your shop. Are you renting out bays? Owner has some really bad news coming his way. Good job Ray.
1
Always nice to see Lauren. aka Wife Unit. ๐๐ Any thoughts about installing shop AC? Ray! You look like you know what you're doing. ๐
1
What does that do for alternator life? We all saw the cut in the radiator hose. Not going to mention that to the owner or repair it?
