And a PITA to do so. Just did mine last summer.

That Autocar is so cool. "Looks like I almost know what I'm doing". Famous last words. ππ BTW: What happened to the paint job you talked about?
2
Take that dozzer and widen the trail.
2
Wow! That sucker runs great! I was about as thrilled as you, when that kicked over. You could use an ultrasonic parts cleaner. Let things sit in that for a few hours and clean as a whistle. Great machine. Nice work.
2
That's a great lawn ornament. Just plant some flowers around it. π Nothing like when that thing kicks over.
2
That was a beautiful barn. What a shame it wasn't maintained well. A big loss. I'd be afraid to pull anything out of there. One wrong pull and the whole place could come down. You dropped the floor down into the cellar, which dragged the end wall with it. I'm surprised we didn't see a ton of mice running out of there.

One thing you didn't do is check for metal. π€¨π²

83 year old grader. Amazing. That things a year older than me and I have trouble just getting out of a chair. π

You would think the starting fluid would have, at least, given you a couple of pops, in spite of the bad carb, Telling me no spark. Ain't it great when that motor kicks over? The electric fools are going to miss that feeling growing up. What a loss. "A little JB Weld and it will be as good as new". I like this guy. ππ You just got a new Subscriber. Motor purring like a kitten. πππ

A coat of wax and it's good to go. π Not once did the cheat sheet move. πI bet you used a torch instead of an iron to solder the float, didn't you. Great job on getting it running again. Nice buy for $500. Great video. ππ

How satisfying is that? π€

41:00 I'll be damned if I would stand under that crane.
1
Ever think of dumping some Miracle Oil in each cylinder over night? My Dad , RIP, swore by it.
1
Whoda thunk it? Great job! BTW: What happened to the paint job on the truck?
1
I have a lot of catching up to do.
1
May be old equipment, but it has a lot of life in it.
1
Do you ever paint any of these junk yard finds? I wonder about a man that carries his dog around. π€¨ 8:58 I guess if he's assured of his manhood, it's ok.
1
Don't you look at these things before you buy them? If no, stop complaining. π Nice work. That's going to be a nice truck. Can't wait to see the transformation.
1
New house is looking good.
1
You might try double clutching that thing.
1
First look? Good potential. The ride on that trailer was scary.
1
You need to install a light bar on the back of your pickup.
1
And women still wonder what men like. Gas $2.95 a gal? Where in Pennsy is that? I want to move there. Just saw the street signs. Down in the south/west corner. Nice area. Good camera work and one hell of a machine. Good luck with it.
1
Β @DieselCreekΒ The tags on the truck are Pennsylvania and the road sign pointed to Washington, also Pennsylvania.
1
Β @DieselCreekΒ Gotcha.π

I was just about to type. "It's a good Ford commercial". when you said it.
1
Good fix.
1
That bearing doesn't get greased? I would think you would replace all the lights etc, after you paint the truck.
1
I noticed that second injector not moving, but why mention it after a year.
1
After seeing what you pulled out of that trans, you might want to check that filter again. (yea I know, its a 3 year old video)
1
Call the job a "Clean Up and Upgrade". Now drag that thing outside and power wash it. This series is great. ππ
1
Cork floats go waaaaay back.π 12:50 WHAT??? Good as new. Nice job. I have the same blower. Great blower. Now I know. Thanks I just replace the paddles. What a PITA. Good luck.
1
The New General Lee. All you need is a big 01 on each door and change your name to Bo Duke. π
1
At least the tires are good. π Lots of good parts there. I wouldn't want to ride behind you with that load.
1
I would scrap it. Big bucks and time needed to just get it running and working. You're starting to get a lot of "other videos" stacking up.
1
You would replace a Komatsu with a John Deere?
1
Probably every piece of equipment you have, could use a set of spanners to maintain them. The last time I looked, you didn't put that "rail crane" in your new shop, and you're still complaining that you don't have one. If you remember what you went through, just to get to them to take them apart, you should know why people pay someone to rebuild them.
1
Did you check the igniters?
1
(all the stuff I was telling you what you should have done) Nice job. You would never know there was a barn there.
1
I hope all the pieces make it to the truck. π€£ 1:12:41 Really hot off the line. Time to take it to the strip. ππ

Great video.
