  1. Not ALL Mazda engines fail. I am the original owner of a 2001 Mazda Tribute 3.0 V6 with almost 250,000 miles. Engine is maintained religiously. Replaced the transmission at 205,000 but engine is still strong. I plan on driving it until I pass off this mortal coil.
