Who is they? It wasn’t the government that did it, it was a group that the government condemned

@ahmedatef4615 Germany never claimed the land it lost so legally all the land that it did claim it had returned. Israel gave the Sinai to Egypt as a peace agreement, Egypt did not militarily achieve their goals. Same thing with Germany they lost the war and got their land back later through diplomacy. Does not mean that they won the war though Look up where the Egyptian army was at the end of the war, they did not capture a single inch of the Sinai

@ahmedatef4615 Victorious nations return land all the time, sometimes the cost of holding land isn’t worth it even though you are militarily able to do so that’s why the USSR returned almost all the land it conquered during world war 2 to Eastern European countries or why the Allies allowed Germany to reunify

@ahmedatef4615 They achieved their goals in exchange for making peace with Israel which made them extremely unpopular with the Arab world and agreeing to demilitarize the Sinai, so they had to make a lot of concessions in order to get it back so I would not say that they achieved much of anything If they were able to get it back without making peace or demilitarization I would agree with you but because of that I cannot
