@nukestrom5719 Defense as in the US army, has no connection to money the US sends abroad Not to mention any aid given to Israel comes in the form of credit that must be spent in the United States so the money that is sent comes back to the country

@calebweaver2038 Do you think the government is stupid? There’s no such thing as a free lunch they spend the money because it provides a net benefit to the US This is why for example the US had the Marshall plan after WW2 to rebuild Western Europe to oppose the iron curtain
