  2.  @antipopnews  Depends. Yes, Russia uses Soviet weapon (that's out of date), but they used some of their newer weapons (post-Soviet I'd say. However, Ukraine didn't develop much of their own army and weaponry, but however Ukraine now uses Western weaponary. For a while they couldn't use Western weaponary because they were trained with Soviet weaponary even other Eastern European states had to give their Soviet weaponary and stockpiles to Ukraine).
