  2. When Kurds are being oppressed in their own homeland, they deserve independence. It wasn't that long ago when the Kurdish language itself was banned in Turkey and you couldn't speak it publicly. Look at what happened to the other minorities in Turkey, if nothing is done, the Kurds will likely suffer the same fate.

  7. Turkey plays both sides. They absolutely lean more towards Russia. They haven't sanctioned Russia at all, and the Russian oligarchs have moved all their yachts to Turkey.

  8.  @outerspace7391  Turkey only opposed Russia there because it wants to maintain a balance of power in the Black Sea. Once again, they play both sides, but they usually tend to favor the Russian side. Turkey supports US aligned rebels in Syria? What? The Kurds were US allies, look what Turkey has done to them. As for Greece, most nations stayed silent on the Armenian-Azerbaijan war. Most people throughout the western world support Armenia though in this conflict as they should. The relationship with Serbia goes back a long time, this is why Greece supports them, they are historic friends. Greece also has had many issues with Albanians especially when it comes to Northern Epirus.

  9.  @outerspace7391  The Kurds have always been allies with the US against ISIS. Trump abandoned them though. They helped us defeat ISIS just for Turkey to come in and target them and free ISIS fighters who were locked up in prisons..

  10.  @skarneer5272  Turkey's history is just one long list of crimes though. From the moment they got to Anatolia they looted and pillaged villages throughout it. The Ottomans had many terrible systems like the Jannisaries where children were ripped away from their families, raised Turkish, and forced to serve in the military to fight their own people. Please tell me one good thing Turkey has done throughout history. I struggle to think of a single one..

  12. I have lost faith in nato.. time and time again they cave into Turkey.. Turkey almost started a war with Greece back in 2020, and what did nato do? Nothing.
