You can't work together with the current Chinese government. You know they put out more pollution than all developed countries COMBINED.
4
@sunatarosuna1560 you're talking about things that happened hundreds of years ago. Look at what China is doing TODAY. Xinjiang slavery, genoci, etc
3
@sunatarosuna1560 also it's hilarious talking about brainwashing when that is exactly what the CCP specialize at. Maybe if you were smarter you could do more with your life than be a wumao
2
@sunatarosuna1560 you are clearly behind on your propaganda. The ccp might deduct your pay for this.. China hasn't had a one child policy for quite awhile now, it's a 3 child policy now. Also forced sterilization wasn't a punishment for breaking the one child policy, and even if it was how could you possibly justify that?? Chinese people love democracy, just look at Taiwan and Hong Kong.
2
@localman9063 China puts out more greenhouse gas than the entire developed world combined. This is a fact, but I guess you wouldn't know that because Google in blocked where you live and the internet in censored..
2
@FLORATOSOTHON ignorant wumao. China is a totally different scenario than Vietnam or Afghanistan. Vietnam was just starting their revolution, they weren't living under oppression yet. Afghanistan has religious extremism hence why the population sided with the taliban.
2
All the CCP puppets here go back and hide behind your "great firewall". Stay oppressed by your authoritarian regime. You are too scared to liberate yourselves and you think you could take on an invading army? Lmao
2
@localman9063 the government has hampered growth more than it has supported it. Look at Taiwan, an island with hardly any resources has achieved more growth than the mainland. A free and democratic China would allow for unhampered growth, and the world would welcome them as a global power. Instead of a tyrannical backwards dictatorship it is seen as now. Also I'm not American
2
@sunatarosuna1560 "re-educate people"? Have you seen the videos and pictures from the "re-education"? That is concentration camps and slavery. Why do they promote Han Chinese migration to the region? Forced sterilization of the Uyghurs there? That is genocide. Keep believing the authoritarian regime who are open about their censoring of information. Seems very trustworthy im sure..
1
You mean like China does with Taiwan? Also going by your name there is a good chance you follow Islam. You have any idea what they do to Muslims in China? Look at Xinjiang. Stop defending this terrible regime
1
@waloysius8054 china has the most coal plants in the world by far. The runner up on coal consumption is India and China burns more than 4 times as much coal as India does per year. You don't think that is partly to blame? How could you argue that china is still actively industrializing? They are landing rovers on the Moon and Mars, they are far past industrializing. The only reason china is polluting this much is Apathy
1
@Kraska93 you can't blame factories for China's insane amount of pollution. Again, China outputs more greenhouse gas than the entire developed world combined. There are plenty of factories for Western countries in India, Bangladesh, etc and they don't even come close. Think of how many things Japan produces? They don't use Chinese factories.
1
@Kraska93 id say China's heavily reliance on coal is one of it's biggest issues. China burns the most coal in the world by far. India burns the second most but China still burns more than 4 times as much as India does per year. That is absolutely insane. The amount of pollution India puts out doesn't even come close to China's emissions.
1
@Kraska93 china just needs to diversify their energy production. They are mostly using coal power plants to supply their energy needs. There are also a lot of poorer households which use coal for heating and cooking. China was starting to lessen their use of coal but Xi has been pulling back from that and increasing coal usage again
1
@Kraska93 it won't increase production costs.. it's just the initial investment of building alternative sources of energy, anything that isn't coal. China is just sticking with the easiest option due to pure apathy. The can spend millions and millions on foreign investment but they can't seem to spend a penny on domestic infrastructure..
1
@Kraska93 no its not.. the only thing that might be is nuclear because you need to supply nuclear fuel. Otherwise wind, solar, hydro are pretty much passive, you just have the initial construction cost
1
@Kraska93 i was just listing examples. Of course it's not practical to power entirely off of wind and solar. But literally every other developed country on Earth doesn't rely so heavily on coal for power
1
@Kraska93 do you know how many people air pollution kills per year? Especially coal pollution? Maybe the CCP should put their people first like they claim they do. Why do you defend such a horrible regime so much? Don't you want whats best for the Chinese people? Just look at what happened with the flooding recently in China. All they can do is attempt to cover up the insane amount of deaths instead of helping the families who lost loved ones
1
@Kraska93 do you know how common mass stabbings are in China? Some places require an ID just to buy a kitchen knife.. Gun violence is an issue but don't act like China is some paradise. Stop deflecting, I'm not arguing about Israel or American faults, I'm talking about China and the CCP. Go and try to search up information or discussions on the floods on Chinese social media.. it isn't there. The death total reported by the ccp is also far lower than the actual number. They don't want to seem incompetent so the censor and lie. Also talking about helping countries do terrible things like you say the US does with Israel and Arabia, it is China who keeps North Korea afloat. If it wasn't for them funding North Korea and having open trade with them their regime would have collapsed ages ago, and their people would have been freed from oppression. Also what about China occupying Tibet and East Turkestan?
1
@Kraska93 I'm not American.. do you really trust Russian and Chinese media more? They are state run and full of propaganda. The Russians occupied half of your country and committed terrible atrocities to your people in ww2 now you're defending them too?
1
@Kraska93 you said you lived in Germany. Also what I was referring to with the Russians was when they were invading Germany there was mass raping and murdering of german woman. You can't tell me they deserved that. Also the torturing of POWs. These were just regular people not responsible for their terrible governments actions.
1
@Kraska93 Obiously neither western countries nor China are perfect, but there is an obvious lesser of two evils here.. You don't need to listen to American news to figure this out. There are plenty of foreign news companies who report on the same thing also independent youtube channels fully community supported who report on these things. If you trust zero media then where are you getting your information from?
1
@spqr950 ? No they don't. India has about the same population and they emit only 26% of China's emissions.
1
@spqr950 If China is, then so is India
1
@spqr950 yet they are landing rovers on the Moon and Mars. I think a large enough percentage of their population are living atleast at western standards. They shouldn't be considered a "developing" country anymore. I'm sure if it wasn't for minimum wage laws people living in the Midwest US would be pretty impoverished as well

@eric-x6c2u and get taken as another hostage for the CCP? No thanks.
1
@eric-x6c2u the two Canadians that were taken hostage. Also unlike you, the things I learn aren't directly from my government..
1
@eric-x6c2u and you believe that? Of course you do.. they were arrested in retaliation of Canada arresting Huawei CFO Meng. Do you believe absolutely everything your government tells you? Do you think your government is incapable of lying?
1
@eric-x6c2u I don't think those two people trafficked anything. Of course they made it up. If they really were these horrible traffickers then why would China offer to lessen their sentence if Canada released Meng? You say people in China dislike some government policies and politicians, this is true, but if you were to voice that publicly on Chinese internet you would get a visit by the police. Of course governments all over the world tend to twist things in their favor including my government, but atleast I am able to freely criticize them for doing so.
1
@eric-x6c2u The CCP keeps peddling these ridiculous conspiracy theories and excuses for their behavior it's impossible to trust them with anything. Just because you grew up listening to their lies, doesn't make it true. It just makes it far more believable to you. What do you think of "Xi Jinping Thought" being taught to young children in schools in China?
1
@dsan8742 Africa is far poorer than China. China is the second largest economy in the world. The situation with Germany is complicated. They were developing cleaner sources of energy but nuclear accidents such as in Chernobyl and Fukushima scared away the German public from nuclear power plants. So now they're slowly decreasing the use of those after investing billions into them.. and need to rely more on coal in the meantime to switch away from nuclear power plants. Personally I think nuclear power plants are one of the most safe and cleanest sources of electricity, so long as it's construction is done right.
1
@Kraska93 the nuclear bombing of Japan was necessary. Consider how many more lives would have been lost had an amphibious invasion of Japan been necessary? The entirely of Japan would have been shelled into oblivion.. countless soldiers on both sides and civilians would have been killed. It was terrible but necessary to end the war. Japan would have never surrendered without those bombs. You continue to think the US is some terrible imperialist warmongering nation but explain to me this. During the Korean war when China intervened and invaded the North, why did the US not use nuclear weapons to defeat China? They could have if they wanted to. China had no means to defend themselves against such a weapon, and had no nuclear weapons of their own to retaliate with. America could have used these terrible weapons to destroy China, conquer it, whatever they wanted but chose not to. Why?
1
@Kraska93 you gotta be joking. Japan would never surrender. It's soldiers would commit seppuku rather than surrender since it was seen as a great shame to surrender, not only to themselves but to their family. I'm sure the vast majority of Japanese soldiers would have rather died fighting then surrender.. Kamikaze strikes were common.. nuclear bombs only worked because there was absolutely nothing they could do to fight against it, it was either surrender or total annihilation in the matter of days.. Also consider replying to the rest of my comment rather than ignore it's existence?
1
@Kraska93 my Japan argument is supported by evidence. Also China intervened in Korea?? What are you saying? There were literally Chinese troops and American troops fighting eachother. America was about to defeat North Korea, and made it pretty close to the Chinese border, that's when China intervened and invaded. Are you disputing facts? Go look it up, I didn't know the Korean war was censored in China, should have guessed I suppose.. Vietnam and the Korean war weren't proxy wars. For it to be that, US troops would not have fought in them. It would be between two proxies, one supported by the US, the other usually supported by the soviets
1
@Kraska93 they practically were at war though. Just intervening on opposing sides in the Korean war. Look it up, many generals wanted to use nuclear weapons. Also thankfully the US intervened in Korea or the world would never have been influence by Korean culture like it is today. South Korea has a massive influence on the west just like Japan does. Can't say the same for North Korea or China. Also it seems you dont remember me from the earlier comments in this thread, I know you don't live in Germany but keep pushing that. Germans don't support regimes like China, they suffered enough in East Germany, literally fleeing in droves to the west. Why would they ever want to go back to that..
1
@Kraska93 haha a Romanian.. you think that is more believable? Romanians suffered under communism and dictators even worse than Germany. I am bringing up actual points which goes against your arguments. It seems you've gotten to the point where you no longer even try to spew propaganda, you instead spew insults. I am not fixed on my views at all. Several people in these replies have been a lot more open minded than you. They are able to criticize things China does while praising the things it does right. You are only able to praise China, because that's what you are paid to do.
1
@Kraska93 theres an insult literally in the previous comment you posted. I am not going to help you with your reading comprehension, that's on you to figure out. Also you say you'll be the grown up and drop it then immediately you ask another question lmao. I'm done, you do not behave like a normal human being having a conversation. You behave like a wumao.
1
@FLORATOSOTHON the people won't fight a liberating army, only a conquering one like Japan was
1
@FLORATOSOTHON most of the world "knows so much". Not everyone is living under an oppressive regime which censors information. It is easy to look up anything and find information on it and see opposing views as well. At 50 cents a post you've made a decent amount just here with me, I'm proud of you
1
@FLORATOSOTHON that's a ridiculous reasoning to keep people under oppression. Should all of Europe go back to absolute monarchies? Or is change a possible and good thing?
1
@localman9063 keep living under tyranny. The Chinese people can free themselves, it is them who keep their government in power.
1
@localman9063 how much does the CCP pay you? Is it really worth it wumao?
