  4. In terms of permanent damage? No. Atleast India is still India. Imagine if the Mughals never lost and India would be a Persian or Turkic speaking nation. That is what happened to the Greeks.. most of Turkey used to be Greek, and the far east of Turkey used to be Armenian. Other peoples have lost quite a lot as well.

  11.  mohit Sharma  Turkey is far from a modern secular state. Only the people from the west coast, like in Istanbul, are secular. The rest of the country is a mess. Also do you know Turkish history at all? If you did you wouldn't like it either..

If the nazis had wiped out the Jewish people in Germany and never declared war on Europe, would you be saying the same thing about them now? It mainly happened in 1916, but it continued from there.. in 1942 they took the wealth of the remaining minorities and if they could not pay, they were sent to concentration camps. In 1955 a massacre was organized in Istanbul to push the remaining Greek population out. In 1974 Turks invaded Cyprus and pushed the Greeks out of the north even though Greeks compromised 80% of the population on the island.
