  1. I don't think the brainwashing is as bad as people think. Of course most Chinese comments on YouTube would be from these ultranationalists who are usually paid to comment. Normal Chinese people are just simply apathetic. They know their government isn't good, but things are good for them and speaking out is risky. The younger generation might be more brainwashed growing up under Xi however. Brainwashing is worse in countries like North Korea, and even Turkey from what I've seen.
