Largly the impact on climate is not due to the actions of individual people. It's due to corporations and governments. Having more immigrants has a negligible impact on the climate/environment. Look at this video for a better explanation. https://youtu.be/yiw6_JakZFc

There is not "far too many humans." Most developed countries have an upcoming demographic crisis.. Birth rates aren't high enough to maintain the population and it just snowballs downwards from there. We are supposed to peak at 9 billion then decrease.

@KeepItSimpleSailor You are looking at the most extreme examples of overpopulation.. Brazil and China. Chinese fishing vessels are the only ones doing the overfishing these days. Brazil does have overpopulation, thus farms moving into the Amazon. Also India, Bangladesh and certain other countries have zero waste management. You see videos of rivers of plastic waste going directly into the ocean. Again, extreme example.

@KeepItSimpleSailor I gave you extreme examples, most of the world is doing fine. Some countries don't have enough people.. I think you're keeping it a little too simple, sailor.

@KeepItSimpleSailor My point was these issues are not due to overpopulation.. China needs to reduce it's dependence on coal, and stop overfishing oceans (follow international law) Brazil needs to sort its economy out and stop expansion into the Amazon, India needs better waste management, etc. These issues do not need to be solved by reducing global population.
