@theangrydweller1002 "suffering kinda sucks" just this quote shows you lack a lot of empathy. Or maybe you just haven't suffered much in life so you have trouble empathizing. Imagine how desperate these people are that they'd rather cling to a plane's wheels than to face taliban rule. Can you understand what might be going on in these people's heads at this moment or do you just see it as blind panic?

@rettwoods what natural resources did we get out of Afghanistan? Out of Iraq? Everything isn't so black and white like you see it. If anything it's due to the lobbying of the military industrial complex. A war is very profitable for them

@TheDarkoD far easier to get opium and other stuff through Central & South America. Afghanistan is much further away.. Imagine thinking a 20 year conflict was all about getting some opium lmao
