I love how one news cut Seymour off before he finished his line about singing, least someone hear his poisoned words and realise he is not the villain one news wants him to be...

@yesterday1396 I have yet to see him say something that is not true, and for the good of all New Zealanders, maori included

C'mon @Kult365 , we've talked about this already. Repeat after me... "discuss the interpretation of the principles". I know you're only repeating the line that One News came up with and encouraged when you say "change the treaty", and are really just trolling at this point... but try not to be so easily influenced and corruptible ok?

@Kult365 Hey, I understand that being special, and a victim... can seem a more attractive option than having the same rights and duties as all New Zealanders, but ultimately it means sitting and yelling and pouting with your hand out while the rest get on with it and work on improving their own outcomes as best they can.

They speak on behalf of voting New Zealanders, they speak for me. Time to debate these "principles" that NO ONE agreed to. The treaty is safe, the principles are not

The most intelligent politician we have, so much mana. We would be in a bad place right now without him

@Kult365 And there it is... racism. The refuge of someone who is has run out of 1 news soundbites to regurgitate, and has realised they don't have any ideas of their own...

@thesquire6352 That violence will be the fault of One News. We voted for a discussion of the "principles", they have misrepresented it as "changing the treaty" and then fired up the masses, and encouraged the rage of those who have bought into their propaganda. There will be no korero while One News sets the narrative

@RooniP Not sure you got your words quite right in this comment... 🤔

@kiwinuk yeah but they aren't within the treaty are they, that would just be the treaty, and no one has said anything about changing that. These are modern day woke interpretations of an ambiguous text, interpretations that may seem to be for the good of some (like apartheid or naziism) but are not in the best interests of our nation.

@AholeAtheist "Adressing systemic issues" is woke-speak for shifting responsibility and blame elsewhere. After school supplementary education for maori kids would be addressing the issue. Blaming poor performance on colonisation trauma, or systemically racist system, is simply shifting responsibility in a very unhelpful way. Also, just give us more land and money, is also not a solution

Yes this constant trampling by England is getting me down... Actually, how are they oppressing us again?
