  1. Old school emergency repair: keep a set of stockings un your glove box ( better let your wife know in advance ir she might think you're fooling around 😜). If and when one of the belts breaks, just use the nylon. Wrap around the pulleys, tight knot and cut the excess. It will keep you safe until you get a mechanic to change it.
