  1. I would use a bit of steel wire to pry and check if the ball of the zerk was blocked or not. Easiest way to grease the parts afterwards, and leave a knob of grease all-over the zerk to prevent dust to block it again. Glad you didn't get blocked. Maybe now we can get back to the usual schedule.
