During the NATO's Jupiter 1986 exercises, some USN SEALS were stationed in the Fuzileiros (marines) school in Vale de Zebre. They were invited to join in and train with us and after half an hour later after watching the exercise they refused doing the mud track because it stank like sewage and had all kind of things in it. The officer in charge said we were treating our troops in a inhumane way.

@luisPcordeiro Exactly. And the officer asked how could we be so mean to our own soldiers. The reply by one of the recruits was "The harder the training, the easier the fight". This left the officer completely dumbfounded.😁

@pedrorequio5515 Of course it is. Portuguese Marines wouldn't be Portuguese Marines without it. United States Navy Seals only have huge logistics backing them. We do miracles with what we can. Give us the same logistics and watch what and how we do the job at hand.
