Strange that nobody mentions that Ukrainian government slavs are not reluctant to use military weapons against the slavs in Donbas and Lugansk, Russian ethnic Ukranian citizens, 14,000 of whom have been killed by the government in 8 years. War crimes en mass. One example from an OSCE report on a July day, over a 4 hour period, 100 x 152mm artillery shells fired into Donbas, by Ukraine's forces. this is not as black and white as people think. Zelensky began to talk of nuclear for Ukraine, to join the club, which would be a disaster for Europe if it went wrong. But to Russia it would be another major concern added to all the genuine concerns they asked to be discussed. Putin captures the Chernobyl nuclear complex and staff, has nobody considered why? This fear of nuclear escalation by Ukraine now or in the future may well be one of the triggers for the invasion, and justified by Russia as a preventative defensive action to forestall any chance that Ukraine could go nuclear, enrich nuclear materials and use some of the old soviet era missile systems or even heavy artillery, as a basis for future threats to Russia which might trigger off a world wide nuclear disaster for everyone. Then of course there is the possibility of a nuclear "dirty bomb" used by Ukraine which again could trigger off major problems in Russia and potentially Europe too. That would seem to me a very valid reason to be triggered into invading and capturing as much nuclear material as possible and make sure they have not already enriched nuclear material, or use any form of nuclear weapon in the near future or later. Think deeply about it, it worries me and i am a Brit, i am damned sure it worried Russia and any other nation who has considered it.
