Surely also people in general only became brown because they existed and lived generations in sunnier hotter places and their skin developed various shades as a result,if you look at black people (really brown) they have pink palms and soles, is that not evidence they were also light skinned in origin?

Like artefacts from the middle east and around the Dead sea scrolls region were sold on the collectors market and lost to archaeology which could answer many questions, these kind of things need protecting and investigations, hence museum collections are a good resource for research which can answer those vital mysteries

@jozebutinar44 people are part of an animal family our nearest relative is a Bonobo chimpanzee, we should all be proud to be animals and in a massive family made by nature.

@dreadnegus Darker skin in the arctic can be down to sun intensity for people who spent 99% of their time on the open country, with snowfields reflecting sun or on the coasts. My skin became darker when i was in the arctic in Norway for long periods, due to the tanning effect of the sun.

@howes1960 "Browning" is down to the sun at various levels around the world over millenia the palms and soles of many black people are pink, as are their inner sexual organs (especially women) fact.
