Many years ago there was a spate of fires and explosions in Lithium batteries used in ELB Emergency Locator Beacons fitted to small aircraft in Canada and USA which caused a number of fatalities following which i believe they were banned from use. It seems that lessons were not learned and once again we see similar occurrences on ships and cars. The cars themselves are mobile potential death traps either from fire or if you are caught in snow or the cold mobile freezers, whereas petrol or diesel have survival possibilities, EV's are NOT GREEN either the whole idea should be abandoned The whole concept and many ideas on the environment are based on false narratives and misused science or vested interests and dubious science which thousands of scientists disagree with. Burning EV's and ships are definitely not GREEN.
