The only reason USA wanted Finland and Sweden in NATO is to threaten the sea routes in the Arctic which are legitimately being opened by Russia to make transport of shipping from Pacific to Atlantic and vice versa easier by using their newer larger, powerful icebreakers and also service their legitimate Arctic energy resources, which is why they refurbished and re opened their arctic bases. After Trump wanted to buy Greenland to dominate the resources there, which the Greenlanders sensibly declined. Russia has no desire or intent to invade either nation or Europe, they are carrying out their legitimate rights to their own waters. Finland and Sweden are the new targets created by the USA for their own ends, i am wondering what the USA plans to plunder from Scandinavia just as they are doing with Ukraine and Syria. Gripen are great aircraft wish we had them in UK and Varustelekka are a great company. I admire the Swedes and Finns but they need to deal with an immigrant crime army in their nations before they think about NATO, if Sweden cannot deal with crime and a rape epidemic on their own lands what will they do if a war starts and their women are left defenceless. They need to make sure of that first.

@Azdroc96 why should it matter i am British, military experienced, health professional, OSCE and a number of other agencies member, making a valid comment on a matter of importance considering the way that the USA is operating with respect to energy resources and on a point few seem to have considered as being relevant to the strategic balance in Arctic regions, especially when we take into account the destruction of the Nordstream pipelines and the theft of oil from Syria by the USA. Not to mention the high cost of US LNG imports to Europe and the added burden it will place on all EU and NATO nations for the future. Being Arctic trained and aware I am naturally interested in what happens in the region. Does anyone have a problem with the truth?

@_Shtosh_ true and are being abused and murdered by a Ukrainian regimes nazi orientated, genocidal, racist, corrupt, war criminal regime the Russian ethnics chose to leave to save their lives. Why would they not prefer survival with kin as opposed to slaughter by nazis. Better for Russian ethnics to be live Russians than dead.
